Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura

Below is an email I sent to Governor Ventura concerning Sgt., Orval Skarman, one of the POW's I have adopted.
I will continue to write every elected and appointed official demanding their complete and undivided commitment concerning our POW/MIA's.
I refuse to let our government officials to forget!  Not while I breathe will they be able to push our POW/MIA's under the carpet with all their dirty laundry.
The letter I used is courtesy of  OPERATION JUST CAUSE .

Governor Ventura,

What is being done to determine the fate of Sgt., Orval H. Skarman - USMC,
who was last seen 15 January, 1968, who while on R&R at China Beach
disappeared?   Sgt. Skarman was classified as an MIA.
There have never been any remains returned identified as those of Sgt.,
Skarman.
He is a Minnesota native, Governor Ventura.
Please advise me of any action being taken by you or any other elected or
appointed official to determine Sgt., Skarman's fate.
In the even there is nothing being done, please explain why not and tell me
how you personally plan to correct this gross error and prevent it from ever
happening again.

With Kindest Regards,
Carla LaChance

Below is the standard reply to all email sent to the governor.  I will post any personal reply if and when I receive it.  Mind you, I'm not holding my breath!

Dear Minnesota Citizen,
Thank you for contacting me via e-mail. Conversation with citizens is important to me.
I am working to keep citizens engaged in the political process by promoting efficient, common sense policies that reduce reliance on government and promote self-sufficiency. The legacy of this administration will be provoking people out of their apathy.  The greatness in this state can only continue with an active, involved citizenry.
Thanks for getting involved. I'm encouraged every time there is a citizen voice speaking out on issues of importance.
Jesse Ventura, Governor
