Security against defeat implies defensive tactics; ability to defeat the enemy means taking the offensive. Standing on the defensive indicates insufficient strength; attacking, a superabundance of strength. [4:5]
All warfare is based on deception. [1:18]
Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. [1:19]

We Sayens are based on a hierarchy system. The Super Sayen is the highest, and has won his postion in duels played against the other members. There are also Lesser Sayens. Of the Lessers there are two classes, Lesser Sayen, and Greater Sayen. Only Greater Sayens can challenge a Super Sayen for his postion. And Lesser Sayens can only challenge Greater Sayens to postion matches.
